Yes, CFAR is available as an optional upgrade when purchasing AXA's Platinum Travel Protection Plan. To use CFAR, the plan must be purchased within a designated period after the initial trip deposit, and the entire trip cost must be insured. This added flexibility is especially helpful for group trips, where changes in schedules or participant availability can lead to unexpected cancellations. CFAR must be selected at the time of purchase and cannot be added later.

Each traveler is covered individually, even under a group plan. If someone needs to cancel their trip before departure or return home early due to a covered reason such as illness, injury or a family emergency, they can file a claim for their unused nonrefundable trip expenses. This does not affect the coverage for the rest of the group, who may continue with the itinerary as planned. AXA can also help arrange new travel for the affected traveler, ensuring minimal disruption for the rest of the group.
